Hexis whitepaper

Hexis is a wallet-native social network on Elysium. You sign in with Privy, pick a username, and the same wallet is your profile, your login, and the key that later features (Desk, launches, on-chain ads) can reason about. This page is the product paper: what it is, how it works today, and what is coming. It is not an investment memo and nothing here is financial advice.

Abstract

Crypto Twitter is still the hangout, but the tape, the narrative, and the mint live somewhere else. Hexis puts the hangout and the tape on one site, on one chain. Posts, chats, stories, and profiles behave like a social network. Trends, Meta Radar, Launches, Live Monitor, and Desk sit next to that feed so you do not tab out to three other products to see what is moving.

Accounts are not email plus password. They are a Privy-verified wallet on Elysium (testnet chain ID 99801). That identity is public at hexis.network/username so people can share a profile the same way they share a tweet. Business tools — ads, marketplace listings, jobs — attach to the same account instead of a second login.

The problem

Alpha is fragmented. Heat shows up on TikTok, narratives show up in group chats, new mints show up on a launch board, and the conversation happens on a social app that still wants an email. Bridging a tourist EVM just to post is a non-starter for people who already live on Elysium.

  • Email/password social apps do not know your wallet, so they cannot gate rooms, tips, or holder boards without a bolted-on connect flow.
  • Pure terminals have the tape and none of the people.
  • Launch boards without a feed become screenshot accounts.

Hexis is the hangout with the terminal in the next column — not a brokerage, not a script you buy, not an exchange.

What Hexis is

A social graph with a wallet as the root key, plus an alpha stack that reads the same chain:

  • Home — For you and Following timelines, stories, an inline composer.
  • Profiles — Public pages with avatar, bio, posts, and share previews for other social sites.
  • Messages — Direct messages and groups.
  • Trends — TikTok-style heat and meme clusters (TrendScreener).
  • Meta Radar — Narrative stages and scores.
  • Launches / Live Monitor — New PONS mints and the tape on Elysium.
  • Desk — Holder-aware board for people already in the room.
  • Wallet — The connected address, on-chain send/receive, and HYPE settlement for ads and marketplace (HYPE by default).
  • Marketplace and Jobs — Catalog and hiring, owned by the same profile. No company forms.
  • Create — Ads, listings, and jobs on top of that profile.

Identity and login

Login is Privy. You connect a wallet on Elysium and sign. Hexis verifies that signature (or a Privy access token), then either creates a user or resumes the existing one. There is no password to reset and no email required. Optional email and phone can be added later in settings for notifications — they are not the login.

  • New wallets go through onboarding: username (up to 16 characters), then optional bio and avatar.
  • The same wallet always maps to the same account (wallet_address + privy_did).
  • Configured root wallets are promoted to the root role after a successful sign-in. They still use the site like everyone else until they step up into the admin panel.
  • Sessions expire after idle timeout. Closing the browser ends the session. Admin access requires a second signature and expires on a shorter clock.

Deleting an account asks you to type your username. Wallet accounts cannot confirm deletion with a password they never had.

Elysium

Hexis (ἕξις) is Aristotle’s name for a stable disposition: not one act, but the character that remains after you repeat it. Elysium, the Elysian field, is where the Greeks placed those who kept that kind of life. The network takes the habit. The chain takes the field.

Elysium is an Arbitrum Orbit Layer 2 built by Kinetiq. It settles to HyperEVM and uses HYPE as native gas. Hexis signs in on Kleos, the Elysium network at chain ID 99901, RPC https://rpc.thekleos.xyz/rpc. New coins come from the Kleos launcher and the classic launchpads. Gas is HYPE.

Photos and avatars are pinned to IPFS and shown through a gateway. That keeps media content-addressed instead of sitting as arbitrary files on the web server.

Social layer

Posts support text, photos, video, GIFs, polls, and links. Mentions use @username. Replies, quotes, reactions, bookmarks, and shares work the way a feed should. Stories sit above Home and expire. Profiles are shareable without signing up — crawlers get Open Graph tags from the avatar and bio so Discord, Telegram, X, and iMessage can preview the person.

Search is a real people search. Follow, mute, block, and report are first-class. Verification is a badge on the profile; applying goes through the configured verification service, and admins can grant or revoke the badge.

Alpha stack

The right rail on Home (Alpha Board) is a compact view of Trends and Meta Radar. Full pages:

  • Trends — names, tickers, view counts, meme clusters refreshed from TrendScreener.
  • Meta Radar — narratives with stage and score.
  • Launches — new mints as they appear on-chain.
  • Desk — a board that can respect holder status on the same chain you signed in with.

None of these pages execute trades. They are awareness. You stay in control of keys and size.

Wallet and settlement

The Wallet page shows the Privy-connected address on Elysium. Receive copies that address so you can fund it. Send opens a Privy prompt from the same wallet you used to log in. There is no in-app credit ledger, no card deposit, and no cashout form.

Ads with a budget above zero, optional job/listing fees, and marketplace purchases settle in HYPE on-chain (HYPE by default on Elysium). Platform fees go to the site treasury. Product purchases go to the seller’s connected wallet. The site verifies the transaction on the Elysium RPC, then publishes the ad or records the purchase. You confirm in Privy; you stay on the pay screen until the chain confirms.

Ads, marketplace, jobs

These are the same account, not a second product:

  • Ads — Create → Campaigns. No company profile. Creative is re-encoded. Budget is HYPE you send from your login wallet to treasury. Zero budget publishes without a payment. After you tap Save and pay with wallet, the next page is Pay with wallet.
  • Marketplace — list goods, browse the catalog, message the seller in chat, or tap Pay with wallet to send HYPE to the seller.
  • Jobs — post a role, browse the board, talk in chat. Optional listing fees (set in admin) use the same Pay with wallet screen and are shown before you pay.

Create ads and listings

There is no separate business account to fill out. Ads, jobs, and products attach to the same wallet profile. Listing profile (display name, short bio, website) is optional. Marketplace, jobs, and ads are feature-flagged independently.

Verification

Verification is a trust badge, not a second login. Request via the configured provider, then an admin marks the account verified. Wallet identity is unchanged. Rules live in the verification document; the badge shows next to the name on the public profile.

Safety and moderation

User-generated HTML is not rendered. Bios, posts, and group descriptions go through Markdown with raw HTML disabled. Images are decoded and re-encoded before they are stored. Adminer and debug tools are not exposed in production. Public APIs for profiles do not require a session; write APIs still do. Sessions idle out. The admin panel requires a fresh Privy signature and a short-lived step-up session.

How it is built

  • Laravel 11 serves the site, admin, business, and JSON APIs.
  • Vue 3 SPA is the logged-in app (and public profiles).
  • Privy verifies wallet login. Sanctum cookies keep the SPA session.
  • Document pages (docs, this whitepaper, legal) are server-rendered with a sticky left nav.
  • TrendScreener and the Live Monitor feed the alpha pages; they are not a separate login.

Roadmap

Dates are intent, not a promise. Items are scoped to how Hexis already runs — Privy identity, Elysium, the feed, and the alpha stack.

Now

  • Public, shareable profiles with per-user Open Graph cards.
  • Admin panel step-up signing and idle session expiry.
  • Wallet-native settings: no fake passwords, optional email, username confirm to delete.
  • Ads / marketplace / jobs settle in HYPE from the Privy wallet you logged in with (ETH default; USDC optional in admin).

Next

  • On-chain escrow contract — hold ad budget in a contract and settle impressions from escrow instead of a direct treasury transfer.
  • Holder-gated boards — Desk rooms and group chats that open only if the connected wallet holds a given mint.
  • Signed profile links — optional “verified by this wallet” line on the public profile, using a one-time signature so scrapers can show the address without a login.
  • Mobile PWA polish — install prompt, offline shell for profiles and docs, push that does not depend on email.
  • Tips in-wallet — send a tip from the same Privy session that posted, recorded on-chain, surfaced on the profile.

Later

  • Launch alerts in-feed — Live Monitor events as optional Home items, muteable per collection.
  • Narrative subscriptions — follow a Meta Radar cluster the way you follow a person.
  • Business analytics — impression, click, and chat conversion for ads and listings without a third-party pixel.
  • Delegated operators — a business can grant a second wallet limited rights (post jobs, pause ads) without handing over the root key.
  • Export and portability — download your posts and graph; username remains claimed on-chain if we ship a names registry.
